BIB support Ethereum (ETH) network's Shapella upgrade

Dear valued users,

In order to support the upcoming Shapella upgrade during the Ethereum (ETH) network epoch 194,048, BIB will suspend the deposit and withdrawal of ETH and ERC-20 tokens at 05:30 (UTC+8) on April 13 .

Please note:

  • Following the Shapella upgrade, BIB will be increasing the minimum confirmation count of deposits into Ethereum (ETH) network from the current 12 blocks to 64 blocks.
  • The trading of ETH and ERC-20 tokens will not be affected during this network upgrade.
  • The Ethereum (ETH) network upgrade will take place at epoch 194,048. The estimated time is for your reference only.
  • BIB will handle all technical requirements involved for all users holding ETH and ERC-20 tokens networks in their BIB accounts.We will reopen deposits and withdrawals for impacted tokens on Ethereum (ETH) networks once we deem the upgraded Ethereum (ETH) network to be stable.
  • We will not be making a separate announcement.For the safety of your funds, please do not make any further withdrawals or deposits of ETH and ERC-20 tokens networks during the upgrade.
  • Please be aware of the risks associated with the spot and derivatives trading these tokens and make sure you increase your margin to lower your risks.
